Mee Park, MD, graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biology with departmental honors from Barnard College, Columbia University. She then received her medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate in Brooklyn. Following medical school, Dr. Park completed her psychiatry internship and residency training in Philadelphia at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Post-residency, Dr. Park has had additional non-clinical training and experience in the creative writing field.

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Park recently served as a consulting psychiatrist at Onward Behavioral Health, where she provided psychiatric services to outpatient young adult and adult patients with a wide range of psychiatric conditions.

Dr. Park previously worked at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she was an attending psychiatrist in the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder specialty clinic. During her tenure in the PTSD specialty clinic, she provided psychopharmacology services, individual prolonged exposure psychotherapy, and started and led for many years, a Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Training psychotherapy group for patients with complex trauma conditions. She provided supervision for medical students and psychology interns during her time there as well and held an appointment as a Clinical Associate of the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.
